Photoshop for Photographers

 

This is the first video in a new series called Photoshop for Photographers. I will be making a series of 10-minute videos to teach you the process of using Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is used for photography, graphic design, video, web development, painting, and other mediums. I will cover the non-destructive use of Adobe Photoshop for a Photographer. Videos will contain free links to download images and work along.

 

This is the second video in this series of Photoshop for photographers. We will take a look at the color management settings in Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw. Then we will go over some simple global adjustments inside ACR or Adobe Camera Raw.

Today in Photoshop for Photographers I will cover how to access adjustment layers and non-destructive toning. In this image, we will use a black and white adjustment layer to convert this image to black and white. I will try to keep these to 10-15 minutes but this video is a little long.

Smart Objects will let you nondestructively add filters or effects to an image. Clipping masks allow to you apply an adjustment layer to a specific layer.
