Have you ever wanted to improve the editing of your Astrophotography? In this video, I will show you some advanced editing techniques inside Adobe Photoshop. I will show you how I edited some images I took at Cherry Spring State Park of the Milky Way. First, I will cover how to stack images and create a smart object to remove noise. in your image. Next, I will cover some advanced little know techniques to isolate certain aspects of an image. These techniques will allow you to only adjust the areas of the image that you designate. We will look at highlight selections and how to save this selection as an alpha channel. I will show you how to align multiple images and create a smart object to reduce the image to noise ratio. Lastly, we will look at layer adjustments with luminosity masks and If-Then adjustments. I will use a combination of layer masking and gradating those adjustments with the flow rate of my brush.
